Where is it? Headline Venue is Cape May Convention Hall.

How do I get tickets? Festival Passes are sold on this site under TICKETS tab, by phone, or walk-up Fest weekend at the Box Office. Phone sales end Wednesday, May 15 at 6:00pm.

Can I buy tickets at the gate? Yes. The Box Office at Cape May Convention Hall opens 10:00am each Fest day.

No outside alcohol at any Festival venue.

What happens if it rains? The Festival stages are mostly in-doors. Be sure to pack rain gear and dress appropriately for weather in Cape May.

Why isn’t the phone answered during the Festival?

Once the on-site production begins, one day prior to each Festival, all focus is on production. Any question can be answered on-site at each venue or is on-line

Is there parking? Street parking in Cape May.

Some hotels in Cape May have shuttles available for their guests. Please check availability with the front desk of your hotel.

Twice a year, each spring and autumn, the Exit Zero Jazz Festival swings into Cape May with musical lineups chock-full of a dizzying array of music styles and cultures, truly unmatched by any other festival of such its size.

Expect to be up close to blockbuster jazz artists, Grammy-winning legends and NEA Jazz Masters. Artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Gregory Porter, Jon Batiste, Dianne Reeves, Pat Metheny, Ron Carter, Ramsey Lewis, Christian McBride, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Charles Lloyd and Terence Blanchard lead an impressive list of artists who have performed at the Festival.

Exit Zero Jazz draws musical inspiration from musicians around the globe, including performers from Indonesia, Japan, South Africa, Europe and the Caribbean. And a healthy cultural connection has been developed with Cuba. The magic of the Festival lies in the surprise of discovery of amazingly talented musicians you were not aware of, but who quickly become your favorites.

Band Submissions

Exit Zero Jazz Festival accepts unsolicited submissions ONLY between November 15 and December 15 each year. If your band is interested in performing at the Festival, please email exitzerojazz@gmail.com within the time period mentioned above and attach an Electronic Press Kit (EPK). Due to the extremely high volume of submissions, suggestions and requests, we are unable to acknowledge submissions via phone or email. If you submit an EPK, please do not contact the festival asking about the status of the submission. We will make contact if you or your artist/group is chosen. Thanks for your interest.
